August 2011

August 7, 2011: Talli (Keepir-Hudson) goes Best of Breed/Best in Specialty Show, and Sporting Group 3, from the Bred-By Exhibitor class for a 5-point MAJOR to earn her AKC Championship at the Vizsla Club of Northern New England Specialty Show from an entry of nearly 50 Vizslas.   Many thanks to Specialty Judge Michael Faulkner, who afterward kindly described Talli as "electrifying", and to Sporting Group Judge Sue Goldberg, for recognizing Talli with these very special honors.  And, an enormous thank you to the wonderful and talented Jenna Iacobellis for taking over on Talli after Winners Bitch so that I could show Talli's mom, Keepir, and so beautifully showing her to her Best in Specialty Show win and her group placement. 


August 6, 2011: Talli (Keepir-Hudson) goes Best in Grand Sweepstakes and Best in Junior Sweepstakes, and, later, Winners Bitch from the Bred-By Exhibitor class for a 3-point MAJOR at the Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club Supported Entry show in Greenfield, Massachusetts.  Many thanks to Supported Entry Judge Douglas Johnson and Sweepstakes Judge Danik Dancause for recognizing Talli with these very special wins. 

 
July 2011

July 9-10, 2011Moxie (Revi-Hudson) goes Winners Bitch at the Catoctin KC show in West Friendship, MD for her THIRD MAJOR and earns her AKC CHAMPIONSHIP in the process!  Never one to rest on her laurels, Moxie goes out the next day as a special at the National Capital KC show and earns a Select Bitch ribbon for a 4-point Grand Championship MAJOR from among a group of 5 girl specials!  Many thanks to Judges Denny Mounce and Larry Sinclair for recognizing Moxie, and to Gina Currier for giving dad a weekend off from handling and for escorting Moxie so beautifully to these special wins.   


July 2, 2011Keepir (Revi-Brave) returns to the show ring with a bang after a 7 month hiatus and is recognized from a group of more than 20 specials with one of three Awards of Merit at the Conestoga Vizsla Club Specialty show in Bel Alton, MD.  And, just to show she's not done yet, Keepir makes the final cut the next day among an equally impressive group of specials at the CVC Supported Entry show.  Special thanks to Judge Houston McDonald for recognizing Keepir at the CVC Specialty.   

 
June 2011

June 12, 2011: At the Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club Supported Entry at the Longshore-Southport KC show, Talli (Keepir-Hudson) watches her brother, Baron, win his Sweepstakes class, and then wins a tough Bred-By Exhibitor class and goes Reserve Winners Bitch from an entry of more than 30 girls!  Thanks to Judge Connie Gerstner Miller for recognizing Talli among a field of beautiful girls. 


June 11, 2011: Fresh off a win in his Sweepstakes class, Baron wins a large and impressive Open Dog class at the Connecticut Valley Viszla Club specialty at the Greenwich KC show.  Thanks to Judge Jeffrey Pepper for finding B among a handsome group of Open Dogs.  

 
May 2011

May 22, 2011Baron keeps on rolling, going Winners Dog for his third show in a row, earning another point at the Mattaponi KC show in Manassas, VA.  Sibling rivalry rules the day, though, as Talli not only goes Winners Bitch and Best of Winners, but goes Best of Breed out of the classes over multiple specials.  Many thanks for Judge Arvid Goransson for recognizing both Baron and Talli, and to fellow owner-handler Kelly Park for escorting Talli to her breed win while Talli's dad was busy showing Baron!  


May 21, 2011Baron (Keepir-Hudson) stays hot, going Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 2 points at the Mattaponi KC show in Manassas, VA.  Thanks to Judge Cornelia Howard for recognizing the Beezer! 

May 15, 2011: The Keepir-Hudson kids are at it again! Baron goes Winners Dog for 2 points and Talli goes Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for 2 points at the Lancaster KC show in Lebanon, PA.  Thanks to Judge Marilyn Spacht for recognizng Baron and Talli!

April 23, 2011: Talli (Keepir-Hudson), in just her third U.S. show, earns a MAJOR win out of the Bred-By class at the Old Dominion KC show in Timonium, MD.  Thanks to Judge Dyane Baldwin for recognizing Talli!

March 19, 2011Moxie (Revi-Hudson) goes Winners Bitch for a MAJOR, and Baron (Keepir-Hudson) goes Reserve Winners Dog to the MAJOR at the Delaware County KC show in York, PA.  Thanks to Judge Paula Nykiel for finding both Moxie and Baron in an impressive entry.  

March 5-6, 2011: Baron (Keepir-Hudson) makes a slash at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association show/Conestoga Vizsla Club Supported Entry in Bel Alton, MD.  On Saturday, Baron goes Best Puppy in Breed and PUPPY SPORTING GROUP 3, and on Sunday, Baron goes Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes and Reserve Winners Dog to the major! Moxie also goes Reserve Winners Bitch to the major on Sunday!  Thanks to breeder-judge Larry Berg for finding Baron in a loaded Puppy Sporting Group on Saturday, and to Judges Richard Powell, Stephen Herman, and James Fankhauser for recognizing Baron the rest of the weekend!    

 
January 2011

January 22: Baron (Keepir-Hudson) goes Winners Dog and Best of Winners from the 9-12 Month Puppy Dog for a 4-pt. MAJOR at the Caroll Kennel Club show in West Friensdship, MD under breeder-judge Carol Brown!  Many thanks to Judge Brown for recognizing Baron, and to Gina Currier for escorting Baron to this awesome win!  

 
November 2010

November 26-29: What a weekend at the Turkey Cluster in West Friendship, Maryland!  On November 26, Keepir earns a 5 POINT Grand Championship MAJOR by going Best of Breed to finish her AKC Grand Championship!  She then follows up her Breed win to start the cluster with a Select Bitch award the following day and another Best of Breed win to close the cluster on November 29.  Ever the competitior, Moxie (Revi-Hudson) manages to overshadow her half-sister by winning her class each day of the cluster and going Winners Bitch (MAJOR), Reserve Winners Bitch (MAJOR), Reserve Winners Bitch, and Winners Bitch over the four days!  Finally, Baron (Keepir-Hudson) goes Reserve Winners Dog from the 6-9 month puppy class on November 29!  Thanks to Judge Greg Gollick for recognizing Moxie, and to Judges Klaus Anselm, Carole Richards, and Cornelia Howard for recognizing Keepir and Moxie.  Special thanks to Judges Amselm and Richards for their kind and flattering words about Keepir and Moxie after the judging! 


November 19: Talli (Keepir-Hudson) earns her first points in grand style by going Best of Breed from the 6-9 month puppy class at the Kent Kennel Club show in Canada!  


November 18: Gabriela (Revi-Noble) goes Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex at the Penn Treaty KC show in Oaks, PA for her first point!  Congrats to Gabby and her owner, Deb McCray, and thanks to Judge Robert Shreve for recognizing Gabby!   


November 14: Keepir makes it three days in a row by going Select Bitch under Judge Kenneth Buxton to earn another Grand Championship MAJOR at the Mispillion Kennel Club show in Salisbury, MD!   


November 13: Keepir earns another Grand Championship MAJOR by going Select Bitch at the Mispillion Kennel Club show in Salisbury, MD, and Moxie goes Reserve Winners Bitch (to a major) the same day.  Thanks to Judge Howard Falberg for recognizing the girls!  And, to end the day on a high note, Emma, in her first Novice Junior Showmanship class against competition, wins the Novice Junior class with Revi at her side to earn her first pass to the Open class!     


November 12: Keepir goes best of Opposite Sex under Judge Norbert Dee at the Salisbury Maryland Kennel Club show to earn 2 more points toward her Grand Championship!

October 31: Lilly (Keepir-Hudson) wins a tough 6-9 Month Puppy Bitch Sweepstakes class to join her brother Baron in the Best in Sweepstakes lineup!  Thanks to Judge Kevin Flynn for recognizing Keepir's kids!   


October 30: SPECIALTY SUCCESS!  Baron (Keepir-Hudson) goes Reserve Winners Dog from the 6-9 Month Puppy Dog class at the Old Dominion Vizsla Club and, not to be outdone, his mother, Keepir goes Select Bitch at the Specialty for a 5-pt. Grand Championship Major!  Many thanks to Judge Michael Faulkner for recognizing Keepir and her son!   

 
September 2010

September 29-October 1: At the Vizsla Club of America National Specialty, Lilly (Keepir-Hudson) makes her debut by making the deep cut in a group of more than twenty 6-9 month puppy bitches only a day after seeing a show lead for the first time! Keepir and Maddox place 3rd in Brace and, in the most special moment of the week, Revi makes the cut in Best of Breed at nearly 8 years old with her lifetime companion, Emma, at her side!  Thanks to Judge Marjorie Martorella for recognizing Revi and her granddaughter, Lilly, and to Jenna Iacobellis for presenting Lilly so beautifully.    


September 19Keepir wins the Breed for a Grand Championship major, and Moxie goes Best of Winners at the Berks County Kennel Club show.  Thanks for judge Ronald Spritzer for recognizing Keepir and Moxie.

  

September 18Koda (Revi-Noble) follows his Breed win yesterday by going Best of Winners for 2 points, Moxie (Revi-Hudson) goes Winners Bitch for another point, and Keepir (Revi-Brave) goes Best of Opposite for another Grand Championship point at the Lehigh Valley Kennel Club show.  Later that day, Emma wins the Novice Junior class in the nighttime match and handles Moxie to an Adult Sporting Group 1.  Thanks to judge Jeffrey Pepper for recognizing Keepir, Moxie and Koda.  


September 12: Koda goes Winners Dog at the Altoona Area Kennel Association show for another point toward his championship.

June 4-6, 2010Gabriela (Revi-Noble) goes Reserve Winners Bitch two of the three days at the Wrightstown, PA circuit (Greater Phila. Dog Fanciers and Burlington County KC) under judges Nancy Liebes and Frank Washabaugh, handled by her owner, Deb McCray.  Congrats Deb and Gabby, and thanks to judges Liebes and Washabaugh for recognizing this special young girl.

May 22, 2010: Keepir goes Best of Breed at the Mattaponi Kennel Club show in Manassas, VA (owner-handled) under Judge Robert Slay for  4 pt. MAJOR toward her AKC Grand Championship.  Thanks to Judge Slay for recognizing Keepir.   

 
March 2010

March 17-18, 2010: Less than two weeks after this brother does so, Leo (Revi-Noble) goes BEST PUPPY at the York Kennel Club show under judge Phyllis Wolfish on St. Patrick's Day!  The next day, Leo wins the Sporting Group at the York Kennel Club Puppy Match under Judge Kay Ames.  Thanks to judges Wolfish and Ames for recognizing this young boy.  

March 10, 2010: THE KEEPIR-HUDSON PUPPIES HAVE ARRIVED!  Keepir whelped 7 puppies (4 boys and 3 girls) out of Hudson (CH Olde Ridge Soar'N Pfalcon's Hudson JH).  Welcome to our "Incredibles" litter -- whelped in an incredible time of 2 hours and 45 minutes by an incredible first-time mom -- Jack Jack, Bob, Dashiell, and Henri (aka Lucious), and Violet, Edna and Helen. March 7, 2010Revi makes her Veterans debut at the Conestoga Vizsla Club Supported Entry at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association with her best friend, Emma, at her side, and goes Best in Veterans Sweepstakes under Judge Cindy Partridge.  Alas, Revi was the only veteran entered at the show, but she and Emma did a wonderful job together!

March 6, 2010: The Revi-Noble kids start to hit the show ring, and Koda (Sassafras Takoda) makes an impression right out of the gate, going Reserve Winners Dog to a 4 point major and BEST PUPPY in only his second show under Judge Pat Hess at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association Show the day before the Conestoga Vizsla Club Supported Entry.  Thanks to Susan DellaPenta and Gina Currier for escorting him to this most auspicious start to his show career, and to his wonderful owners, the Valentnes, for raising him so beautifully.  Thanks also to Judge Pat Hess for recognizing tis special young boy!  Koda's brother, Leo, and sister, Gabriela also showed beautifully during the weekend! 

 
October 2009

October 31, 2009: BOTH Maddox and Keepir make the final cut of 8 specials (from an entry of 74 specials and an overall entry of 184 Vizslas) at the Vizsla Club of the Carolinas Specialty under Judge W. Everett Dean, Jr., and both just miss out on Awards of Merit.  Thanks to Judge Dean for recognizing these littermates from among a group of specials that included a majority of the Top 20 Vizslas, and to Gina Currier for so beautifully presenting both of them through multiple and hard fought cuts.   

October 30, 2009: Moxie makes the cut in the large 12-18 Month class at the Vizsla Club of America National Specialty on October 30, 2009 under Judge Michelle Billings.  Thanks to Judge Billings for finding Moxie among a very impressive group of young girls.   

October 16-18, 2009: Maddox goes Best of Breed on Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Laurel Highlands Kennel Association show and again on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club show under Judges Houston Clark and Robert B. Moore, respectively, in Cumberland, MD, and got a good look from the both judges in the Sporting Group each day.  His younger half-sister, Moxie, goes Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday under Judge Moore for the first point toward her championship, and then, with Maddox sitting on the sidelines, follows that up by going Winners Bitch and Best of Breed on Sunday, October 18 under Judge Patricia Gellerman at the Upper Potomac Valley Kennel Club show for another point. Many thanks to Judges Clark, Moore and Gellerman for recognizing Maddox and Moxie, and to Gina Currier for guiding Maddox to his breed wins and Moxie to her first point under Judge Moore.   

 
September 2009

September 12, 2009: Gabriela follows up her Puppy Sporting Group 3 with a Puppy Sporting Group 1 at the Garden State Akita Club's match in Kutztown, PA.  Keep up the good work, Deb and Gabby! 

September 6, 2009: Gabriela (Revi-Noble) takes to the show ring like a little pro and walks off with a Puppy Sporting Group 3 at the Lancaster KC match show at just 3.5 months old.  Congratulations to Gabriela and to her owner, Deb McCray, who handled her to this great start!

 
July 2009

July 5, 2009: Moxie wins the 9-12 Month puppy bitch class at the National Capital KC show in West Friendship, MD, and, later, is Judge Anne Savory Bolus's choice as Best Puppy.  Thanks to Judge Bolus for recognizing young Miss Moxie.  


July 4, 2009: Maddox, only a couple weeks removed from finishing his championship, announces his presence in the specials ring by going Best of Breed over a nice group of specials on July 4th under Judge Col. Jerry Weiss at the Upper Marlboro KC show in West Friendship, MD. Thanks to Judge Weiss for finding Maddox among a nice and sizeable group of specials (and for his kind comments about Maddox), to Gina Currier for presenting him so beautifully, and to Jessy Sutton for doing the same in the group ring. 

 
June 2009

June 28, 2009: Keepir shows her heart out and goes Best of Opposite Sex at the Conestoga Vizsla Club Supported Entry at the Rock Creek KC show in Bel Alton, MD under Judge Dennis Kniola.  Many thanks to Judge Kniola for finding Keepir in an entry of some 25 class and specials bitches, and to Gina Currier for, as always, presenting her beautifully.  Earlier in the day, Moxie finally wins the 9-12 Month puppy bitch class once dad's handling was no longer an impediment and Gina took the reins.  Way to go to Moxie Pox and Gina -- who looked great in Winners and got a nice look from Judge Kniola.  

June 26, 2009: Less than a week after finishing his championship, Maddox makes Judge Gloria Geringer's final cut in Best of Breed at the Rock Creek KC show in Bel Alton, MD the day before the Conestoga Vizsla Club Specialty Show.  Thanks to Judge Geringer for recognizing Maddox among this impressive group of specials.  

June 21, 2009: Maddox continues his remarkable run, going Winners Dog at the Space Coast KC show in Orlando, FL under Judge Ruth Zimmerman for a MAJOR win to finish his AKC Championship.  Thanks as always to the wonderful Gina Currier for presenting Maddox so beautifully and for taking such wonderful care of him on the road, and many thanks to Judge Zimmerman for joining the ranks of the many judges who have recognized Maddox.  

June 6, 2009: Keepir performs incredibly at the Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club Specialty Show in Norwalk, CT and, owner-handled, makes Judge Lester Mapes's final cut, falling just short of an Award of Merit. A heartbreaking day for sure, but one we'll remember for a long time.  We're so very proud of our Schmeepir for hanging in there among an outstanding group of specials. 

June 5, 2009: Maddox keeps on rolling into June, going Winners Dog for his 12th point at the Skyline KC show in Fishersville, VA under Judge Kathleen Steen.  Unbeaten in the dog classes over his last seven shows since returning to the ring, Maddox is now on the prowl for his final major. 

 
May 2009

May 30-31, 2009: Maddox keeps the streak alive on Saturday, May 30, going Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex for another point at the Toledo KC show in Maumee, OH under Judge Carol Beattie.  Then, on Sunday, May 31, he keeps up his stellar run, going Best of Breed and Best of Winners for his sixth win in a row at the second day of the Toledo KC show under Judge Ann Hearn.  Thanks very much to Judges Beattie and Hearn for recognizing Maddox!

May 22-25, 2009: After many months of focus on Keepir, her brother Maddox finally gets his turn and makes the most of it, sweeping the four-day cluster of shows in Hampton, VA.  On Friday and Saturday, Maddox goes Best of Winners under Judges Jon Cole and Elizabeth Muthard, respectively, at the Langley KC shows.  On Sunday, Maddox goes Winners Dog under Judge Jean Fournier and, on Monday, he goes Best of Winners under Sari Brewster-Tietjen, at the Gloucester KC shows.  Many thanks to Judges Cole, Muthard, Fournier and Brewster-Tietjen for recognizing this special boy now that he's "all grown up." Great thanks also to Gina Currier for taking such good care of Maddox and for presenting him so beautifully.  Continued good luck on your "road trip", Mad Max.   

May 14, 2009: Revi whelps a litter of eight -- four boys and four girls -- out of Noble (CH Renaissance Noble Tradition). Many thanks to Susan DellaPenta (Patriot Vizslas) and Linda Durham (Renaissance Vizslas) for making this breeding possible.   

May 10, 2009: Keepir goes Best of Breed (owner-handled) at the Lancaster KC show in Lebanon, PA under Judge Carol Brown.  Many thanks to Judge Brown for recognizing Keepir once again. 




 
April 2009

April 20, 2009: Keepir keeps it up in Timonium, MD, going Best of Breed for the second day in a row at the Catoctin KC show under Judge Frank Washabaugh.  Thanks to Judge Washabaugh for recognizing Keepir. 

April 19, 2009: Keepir wins Best of Breed at the Baltimore County KC show in Timonium. MD over a nice group of specials under Judge Everett Dean.  Thanks to Judge Dean for recognizing Keepir once again, and to Gina Currier for her usual super job of presenting Keepir. 

April 18, 2009: Moxie and Tanner (Revi-Hudson littermates) make their show debuts at the Old Dominion KC show in Timonium, MD and both stayed still long enough to win their puppy classes.  Moxie even kept all four feet on the ground long enough to catch the eye of breeder-judge Walter Sommerfelt, who recognized her with a nice Reserve Winners Bitch ribbon in her first show over a number of Bred-By Exhibitor and Open bitches. Thanks to Judge Sommerfelt for his patience with the puppies and for his kind comments about Moxie. 

 
February 2009

February 28, 2009: Keepir goes Best of Opposite Sex at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association limited breed show in Bel Alton, MD.  Thanks to Judge John Neilsen for recognizing Keepir. 

February 7, 2009: Maddox wins the Open class and goes Reserve Winners Dog at the Vizsla Club of Greater New York Specialty show in Secaucus, NJ.  Thanks to Judge Sue Goldberg for recognizing Maddox, and thanks to Gina Currier for handling him beautifully as always.

December 2008

December 14, 2008: Two days after her second birthday, Keepir finishes her AKC championship at the Delaware Water Gap KC in Bethlehem, PA on Sunday, December 14, 2008 by going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners (owner-handled from the Bed-By Exhibitor class) for a MAJOR win.  Thanks to Judge Carol S. Brown for recognizing Keepir with this wonderful win, and thanks to our many friends and fellow Vizsla exhibitors whose support made the day even more special.   

 
November 2008

November 21, 2008: Keepir goes Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for a 3 point major at the Windham County Kennel Club show in West Springfield, Massachusetts.  Two days later, Keepir wins the large Open bitch class at the Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club Supported Entry, but fails to pick up the last major she needs to finish her AKC championship.  Thanks to Judge Richard Chashoudian for Friday's major win, and many thanks to Alessandra Folz for presenting Keepir so beautifully all weekend!

 
October 2008

October 17, 2008: Keepir finishes her Canadian championship with her third major in seven shows in Canada by going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the London Canine Association show in London, Ontario under Judge Richard Meen.  Way to go, Keepir Schmeepir, and big thanks to Judge Meen for this terrific win and to her terrific handler, Gina Currier, for escorting her to her title.

September 22, 2008:  The Revi-Hudson-Cupid pups have finally arrived.  The "RHC" litter, three boys and 1 girl who Emma has decided will soon be named after 2008 Olympic Gold medalists, arrive between 7:23 PM and 9:53 PM EDT.   Welcome to the world, pups!

July 13, 2008 : A day after earning a 5 point MAJOR in Canada at the Vizsla Canada Booster, Keepir earns a MAJOR for a second straight day.  This time, Keepir goes Winners Bitch immediately after the Vizsla Canada National Specialty for a 3 pt. MAJOR at the Oxford County KC show in Ontario, Canada under Judge Merlin Vandekinder.  Thanks to Judge Vandekinder for recognizing Keepir and, as before, to Gina Currier for her escorting Keepir to her win.     

July 12, 2008: Keepir goes north of the border and earns a 5 point MAJOR by going Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex (over specials) at the Vizsla Canada Booster in Ontario, Canada.  Thanks to Judge Phyllis Wolfish for this incredible win, and to Gina Currier for her superb handling!  Go Keepir Schmeepir!

June 27-30, 2008: From an entry of 17 boys, Maddox goes Reserve Winners Dog to a 5-pt. major at the Conestoga Vizsla Club's Supported Entry at the Rock Creek Kennel Club in Bel Alton, MD under Judge Robert Stein (June 29).  Maddox also goes Reserve Winners Dog the next day as well under Judge Col. Jerry Weiss.  Thanks to Judges Stein and Weiss for recognizing Maddox, and to Gina Currier for presenting Maddox so nicely.         

June 8, 2008:  Among a group of nearly 30 girls, Keepir goes Reserve Winners Bitch to a 5-pt. major at the Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club's Supported Entry at the Longshore-Southport Kennel Club in Yorktown Heights, NY under Judge Robert Ennis.  Thanks to Judge Ennis for recognizing Keepir, and to Gina Currier for handling her beautifully.

May 17, 2008:  After nearly a month off from showing, Keepir comes back with a bang, going Winners Bitch and Best of Winners under Judge Michael Faulkner at the Mattaponi Kennel Club show in Manassas, VA to pick up 2 more points toward her championship.  Keepir even earned a close look in Best of Breed against top specials.  Thanks to Judge Faulkner for recognizing Keepir, and for the kind comments about her afterwards. 

 
April 2008

April 19-21, 2008:  It seems Keepir just can't catch a break.  On Saturday, April 19, Keepir wins the Open class (with an entry of at least 10) and, for the second time in three shows, goes Reserve Winners Bitch to a major.  On Sunday, April 20, Keepir places 2nd in the Open class among 9 other girls.  And, on Monday, April 21, Keepir again goes Reserve Winners Bitch.  Thanks to Judges Maxine Beam, Cheryl Lent and Donna Buxton for recognizing Keepir. 

April 12, 2008Keepir wins the Bred-By Exhibitor class and goes Reserve Winners Bitch (to a major with an entry of 17 bitches) at the Harrisburg Kennel Club show, again narrowly missing her first major.  Thanks to Judge Wendy Willhauck for recognizing Keepir.

April 3-6, 2008Keepir goes Winners Bitch, Reserve Winners Bitch and Best of Breed from the Open class on Thursday, April 3, Saturday, April 5, and Sunday April 6, respectively, at the Fredericksburg, VA/Prince Frederick, MD shows.  Keepir, the only Vizsla in attendance on Sunday, showed very nicely in the Sporting Group and held her own against top specials.  Thanks to Judges Barbara Dempsey Alderman, Dorothy MacDonald and Christine Pollinder-Calcinari for recognizing Keepir over the weekend.  A very special thanks also to Gina Currier for expertly handling her to those honors. 

 
March 2008

March 15-16, 2008Keepir goes Winners Bitch (narrowly missing her first major) on Saturday, March 15 at the Delaware County Kennel Club show in York, PA under Judge Carol Beattie.  The next day, Keepir nearly makes it two wins in a one weekend, winning the Open Bitch class and going Reserve Winners Bitch under Judge Nancy Cowley.  Thanks to both Judge Beattie and Judge Cowley for recognizing Keepir. 

 
February 2008

February 23 & 24, 2008:  Practicing up for the 2008 show season, Keepir and Maddox spent the weekend attending matches in Maryland and Virginia.  On Saturday, Keepir takes an Adult Sporting Group 2 at the Mason and Dixon Kennel Club Sanctioned Match in Boonsboro, Maryland.  Not to be outdone, and with Keepir home on Sunday, Maddox also takes an Adult Sporting Group 2 at the Old Dominion Kennel Club Sanctioned Match in Herndon, Virginia.  Good work, pups.

 
December 2007

December 8, 2007:  Keepir goes Winners Bitch out of the Open class once again for her second point at the Chambersburg Area KC show.  Thanks to Judge Dr. Robert D. Smith for recognizing Keepir.

October 18-19, 2007:  In their first Vizsla Club of America National Specialty, Keepir places 2nd in the 9-12 Month Puppy Bitch Sweeps class and makes the cut in an incredibly competitive and deep Bred-By Exhibitor Bitch class despite being the youngest girl in the class at 10 months old.  Also, Maddox places 4th in the 9-12 Month Puppy Dog Sweeps class (along with his buddy and "cousin" Hudson (Olde Ridge Soar'N Pfalcon's Hudson), who places 2nd in the same class!).  Many thanks to National Specialty Judge Dr. Donald Sturz for finding young Keepir for the cut in a sea of beautiful Bred-By Exhibitor bitches from across the country, and to Sweeps Judge Eleanor Rensink for recognizing both Keepir and Maddox in Sweeps!

October 14, 2007: Maddox sweeps both days of the weekend and earns another point, going Best of Winners (and Best of Opposite over a special) at the Maryland KC show under Judge Paula Nykiel.   Not to be outdone, Keepir wins the Open class and goes Winners Bitch, earning her first point.  Many thanks to Judge Nykiel for awarding Winners to both Maddox and Keepir!

October 13, 2007: Maddox goes Best of Winners to earn his first point at the Catonsville KC show under Judge Robert J. Moore.  Keepir also has a great day, going Reserve Winners after placing 2nd of 5 in the Open class (as a 10 month old puppy!).  Many thanks to Judge Moore for recognizing the pups!

September 9, 2007: Maddox wins the 6-9 Month Puppy Dog sweepstakes class and goes Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes at the Vizsla Club of Greater New York Specialty during the prestigious Westchester Kennel Club show.  Many thanks to breeder-judge Pamela Pierce (Firebrand Vizslas) for recognizing Maddox.

July 6-8, 2007: Keepir goes Reserve Winners Bitch out of the 6-9 month puppy bitch class over several open bitches at the Rock Creek KC show, and Maddox wins the 6-9 month puppy dog class both days of the weekend.  Special thanks to breeder-judge Bud McGivern for recognizing Keepir with a Reserve nod.

June 29, 2007: Revi finishes her CHAMPIONSHIP with a nice MAJOR win at the Southern Maryland Kennel Club show under Judge Houston Clark the day before the Conestoga Vizsla Club Specialty. June 29, 2007: Maddox and Keepir make their show debuts at the Southern Maryland Kennel Club with two 6-9 month puppy class wins.

June 2, 2007: Maddox wins Best Puppy and Keepir wins Best of Opposite Puppy at the 2007 Conestoga Vizsla Club Fun Match (and, yes, there were other puppies entered!) Thanks to friend and judge Gail Contreras for recognizing the pups.
