"Keepir," our girl from the Revi-Brave litter (and, thus, our "keeper"), drew early comparisons to her grand-dam, Ptoppir (Am./Can. Ch. Szizlin's Ain't Gonna Stop Her JH ROM) for her overall structure. The unique spelling of her name is thus a homage to her grandma. Keepir, no shrinking violet to be sure, is a substantial bitch with tremendous bone and substance, and is Sassafras Vizslas' first home-bred champion. Keepir finished her AKC championship with a major, owner-handled from the Bred-By Exhibitor class, at the Delaware Water Gap KC show in December 2008 from an entry of 17 girls, and finished her Canadian championship in just two weekends, including a 5-pt. major at the Vizsla Canada National Booster show the weekend of the Vizsla Canada National Specialty. Keepir began specialing on a limited basis in January 2009, going Best of Breed her first four days out as a special (and making a cut in the Sporting Group her first day out ). Keepir established herself as the alpha dog in our home even before 6 months and has not looked back. Keepir is a true gift and we could not be more thankful that she is a part of our lives.
